After Rehoboam and Jeroboam
INTRODUCTION: From now on out, all the kings of Israel do evil in the sight of the Lord and only some of the kings of Judah do right. Asa is especially interesting. He began strong but ended weak. He clearly illustrated the prophecy to himself and those under him, “The LORD is with you, while ye be with him” (2 Chronicles 15:2And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.

[8] Were not the Ethiopians and the Lubims a huge host, with very many chariots and horsemen? yet, because thou didst rely on the LORD, he delivered them into thine hand.
