The Sevenfold Worthiness of the Son
Scripture Passage:
Hebrews 1:1-3 Attached audio files:
Introduction: This passage tells of the change in how God revealed His truth from the times of the Old Testament to the times of the New Testament. In the OT, He gave His revelation through the prophets. In the NT, He revealed Himself through His Son. Then, He gives seven reasons the Son is worthy and superior to the prophets as a means of revelation. Our love to Him must be supreme – Matthew 10:37He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
