        1. Perhaps this was partially accomplished by Uzziah (2 Chronicles 26:6-7).
        2. Perhaps this was partially accomplished by Tartan, a man sent by the king of Assyria (Isaiah 20:1).
        3. Yet after this time there was still a remnant in Ashdod (Jeremiah 25:20).

        2. Apparently Tyrus was guilty of the same sin as Gaza, which could very well have something to do with slavery (Joel 3:6).

        4. Joel speaks of judgment upon Tyre (Joel 3:1-8).
        5. Zechariah speaks of judgment upon Tyrus (Zechariah 9:1-4).

        1. Edom sinned by demonstrating violence against Jacob (Obadiah 1:10).
        2. Edom sinned by watching and participating in the captivity of the people of God (Obadiah 1:11).
        3. Edom rejoiced in the captivity of Judah (Obadiah 1:12).
        4. Edom stood in the way so that the people of God could not escape (Obadiah 1:14).
    2. The Coming Judgment (Amos 1:12)
      1. The Lord will send a fire upon Teman.
